We’re so proud of our dyed wool roving braids. These braids are all sourced from small farms and mills here in the USA. They were then hand-dyed by one of the CHY dye team handled with care and are ready to be spun. While I love the beauty of raw fiber there is something endlessly exciting about unbraiding a new dyed braid and diving in. They are easy to learn on and are prized by both new and advanced spinners. Step outside of the norm and try one of our “ non-merino” options.

These 4 oz braids are Rambouillet which is a personal favorite of mine. It’s a great medium length fiber that can be spun in many different styles. Rambouillet is soft and like the french cousin of Merino but with a bit more loft and bounce.
