Dresow family Farm- Review- My Local wool

Hi everyone, my name is Jennifer Batt from Full Bloom Fiber Arts and I wanted to share my wonderful experience with some gorgeous wool that i just spun up.

I recently purchased two ounces of naturally dyed Cormo locks from Dresow Family Farm in Minnesota. First I want to tell you a little about this farm. I have had a nice friendship with Stacy, the shepherdess of Dresow. She is super sweet and loves her sheep. She has some of the most picturesque pastures that i have seen. These beautiful locks are 3 to 3.5 inches long and dyed using onion skins, rhubarb and iron, it is priced out at $6 an ounce, that is a great price. I combed them out to get the best feel for the fiber. It is so soft and silky and range from bright gold to brownish gold. I spun it up to a nice 2 ply sport weight that I plan on incorporating into a weaving project soon. It spun up quick and smooth with lots of bounce. If you haven't checked her out on Instagram, please do. She has some of the softest wool I have saved to date.
